QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to develop Learners’ knowledge of COSHH Regulations and requirements.
The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) is ideal for all employees, and specifically those who wish to work in an environment with hazardous substances, such as: healthcare, manufacturing, cleaning, transport, utilities and office environments.
During this half day course, Learners will develop their understanding of the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures required to ensure hazardous substances are properly controlled, as well as learn how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances. Assessment Guide and Multiple Choice Question Papers
Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) certificate personalised with their Centre’s details.
In order to deliver this qualification, Centres will require a minimum of 1 Trainer and 1 Internal Quality Assurer (these cannot be the same person). Please refer to the above Qualification Specification (pages 5-6) to check the qualification approval requirements required for these positions. Centres will also need to have appropriate policies, systems and procedures in place as well as suitable and adequate venues, equipment and learning resources.
