The QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in Health and Social Care (RQF) is intended for those who work, or plan to work with patients or clients in a health and social care setting, such as: hospitals, care homes and day care centres.
During this comprehensive course, Learners will cover a variety of topics relating to health and safety procedures in a health and social care setting. Topics covered include: standards for health and safety welfare in a health and social care environment, risk assessments, importance of personal hygiene and more. Multiple Choice Question Papers and Assessment Guide
Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in Health and Social Care (RQF) certificate personalised with their Centre’s details.
In order to deliver this qualification, Centres will require a minimum of 1 Trainer and 1 Internal Quality Assurer (these cannot be the same person). Please refer to the above Qualification Specification (Pages 5-6) to check the qualification approval requirements required for these positions. Centres will also need to have appropriate policies, systems and procedures in place as well as suitable and adequate venues, equipment and learning resources.
