QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF)

The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) is specifically designed for those looking to further progress their career in the emergency services, ambulance services, event medical sector and high risk workplaces.
Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level F, this fantastic qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to manage a range of prehospital emergency situations, such as: acute conditions, life-threatening infections, end of life care, childbirth and more. Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) certificate personalised with their Centre’s details.
In order to deliver this qualification, Centres will require a minimum of 1 Trainer/Assessor and 1 Internal Quality Assurer (these cannot be the same person). Please refer to the above Qualification Specification (Pages 22-24) to check the Training/Assessing and Quality Assurance qualifications, and occupational knowledge and competence required for these positions. Centres will also need to have appropriate policies, systems and procedures in place, as well as suitable and adequate venues, equipment and learning resources.
