QA Level 4 Award in Motorsport Emergency Response and Care (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in providing emergency care to casualties involved in motorsport incidents.
The QA Level 4 Award in Motorsport Emergency Response Care (RQF) has been specifically designed for emergency care providers such as Medical Technicians, Ambulance Technicians, Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors, who provide emergency care at motorsport incidents.
While achievement of this qualification confirms Learners have met both the theoretical and practical requirements, this does not imply a ‘license to practice’ - the scope of practice will be determined by the organisation responsible for the Learner’s clinical governance.
During this 2 day course, Learners will study a range of topics, including motorsport safety protocols and regulations, how to assess motorsport incidents, as well as how to treat, immobilise and extricate patients from the scene. For a more detailed overview of the topics covered, please download the Qualification Specification.
